January – February 2022 hunt giveaway – Fallow Otways hunt with ‘The Huntsman’

What’s included.

• Half day fallow deer hunt in the Otways.
• Guiding by Chris Waters.
• Options for easy stalking or difficult thick rain forest terrain.
• Education and training in tracking, calling and stalking fallow deer.
• Assistance in field dressing & butchering in the event a deer is shot.
• Who knows, you might even get on video! (if you want to that is).

What’s not included.

• Rifle and ammo (can be rented at extra expense)
• Hunter must have at least a minimum .243 calibre rifle with a 80 grain projectiles (we recommend a .270 Winchester with minimum 130 grain projectile or 30.06)
• Hunter must have Victorian firearm license, and deer game license (cheap & easy to get)
• Accommodation (this can be provided at Chris’ family farm stay (via AirBnB) at extra cost) which would include transport to the hunting area and back.
• Transportation to the hunting area.
• No guarantee of deer.

*Hunt dates are subject to availability and will be negotiated between the winner and the guide.
