b) Failed payments.

If a charge against a credit card you provide is not authorized or accepted, or is subsequently refused or rejected, we reserve the right to cancel your order without notice or liability.

When a scheduled credit card payment fails the Australian Hunters Club website commences a payment retry process which can take up to 8 days to complete fully. During this process the users membership is temporally suspending, along with their access to membership content and will not be eligible for giveaways. During this period the a membership plan will be marked as either ‘pending‘ or ‘paused‘ and subsequent subscription as ‘on hold‘ in the users account page.

The retry system works by applying a set of retry rules whenever a renewal payment fails. The full set of retry rules defines the specific behaviour of the retry process between the first failure and finally declaring the payment as failed and no longer attempting to process the payment. The general retry process proceeds like this:

  1. Automatic recurring payment fails.
  2. The website checks if a retry rule exists for this specific payment failure.
  3. If a rule exists, it is applied and Subscriptions will:
    • schedule a pending retry event to occur after a set period of time
    • set the status on the subscription to match the status defined by the rule
    • set the status on the order to match the status defined by the rule
    • email the customer the email defined by the rule
    • email store managers the email defined by the rule
  4. When the scheduled time for the retry event arrives, the website will retry the payment if:
    • the retry still has a status of pending
    • the order still requires payment
    • status on the subscription matches the status defined by the rule previously applied
    • status on the order matches the status defined by the rule previously applied
  5. If the payment fails on this retry attempt, steps 2 through 4 are repeated until there are no more retry rules.

If no rule exists, either because the all retry rules have been exhausted or the retry system cannot be applied to the renewal order, the renewal order is marked failed and the customer is sent the Customer Renewal Notification email.

To regain access to the membership the customer will need to log in to the website and reactive their membership subscription via the subscription page in the accounts section, by adding in a valid credit card. Failure to do so in a timely fashion will result in the membership being canceled. Instructions will be sent to the user outlining this process and dates required for payment.

XI. Membership directory and member profiles

Members of the Australian Hunters Club at any tier (except those in a trial period) have the opportunity to create a member profile. These profiles appear on the club’s website within the members directory and can be filtered and viewed by other members who have active profiles. This is an optional service available to members.

To prevent misuse of this service, only members with profiles can use the members directory and view other members’ profiles.

Certain information visible on a member’s profile is automatically generated upon creation, such as their first name or state. Other fields require manual entry by the member during the profile creation process.

Each member can only have one profile at any given time. Profiles can be edited or deleted by the member at any point via the members account page. However, please note that deleting a profile may result in loss of access to the members directory.

Every profile includes a contact form that allows other members to send emails to each other. The Australian Hunters Club website facilitates this process by sending the email on behalf of the member who submitted the form. Through this process, the club ensures that members’ email addresses remain private. It is then up to the recipient member to decide whether or not they wish to respond to the email. Form submission data through profiles is saved for archival, reporting and complaint management purposes.

We value our members’ privacy, and as such, we hide all personal, private, and contact information on member profiles, including last name, full address, and email address.

Members must only upload images or input written content to their profiles that they own or have the license for. Uploading copyrighted material may result in the deletion of the member’s profile and termination of their membership.

When creating or editing a profile, members must be truthful and refrain from misrepresenting themselves. Uploading misleading material may result in the deletion of the profile and termination of membership.

According to section III: Account Suspension and Termination, the representatives of the Australian Hunters Club reserve the right to delete a member’s profile or terminate their membership if they misuse this service by creating user-generated content that is abusive, pornographic, sexist, sexual, racist, disrespectful, distasteful, involves public slander, violence, or any other content deemed inappropriate by the representatives. Abusive content is not limited to written or visual content.

Furthermore, the representatives of the Australian Hunters Club reserve the right to restrict access to members, delete members’ content and profiles, or terminate a member’s membership if they engage in spamming or abuse of the contact forms on either a single member’s profile or multiple members’ profiles. These forms are intended to facilitate initial introductions and connections among members and are not designed for ongoing conversations, self-promotion, or highlighting misconduct.

  3. Memberships automatically generated from a trial membership: If your trial membership upgrades to a full membership with an annual billing plan, beginning 91 days after your registration, you can request a partial refund within 7 days of the upgrade. This refund considers that you’ve enjoyed 3 months of benefits without charges, as trial memberships can be canceled anytime within the 90-day trial period without fees. The partial refund will equal to 9 months of the upgraded plan, minus payment gateway charges. Additionally, we offer the choice to replace the upgraded membership with a digital membership gift card of equal value or provide a free upgrade to another plan.

Digital membership gift card refunds

We reserve the right to not offer a refund on digital membership gift cards.

Physical Goods Refunds

We will accept returns of physical goods and provide you with a  refund or repair where:

  • The item is faulty or is not of acceptable quality, or
  • The item is not fit for its intended purpose, or
  • The product does not match the sample or our description; and
  • You can present a receipt or other adequate proof of purchase

In order to receive a refund you must first post the item back to us at your own cost. We will then cover the costs of sending you a new product in the event that the refund is eligible under Australian Consumer Law.

We may elect to return the product to the manufacturer’s repair agent to determine the nature of the problem. We reserve the right not to offer an exchange voucher, refund or repair where the item fault is a result of misuse or neglect.

Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair goods.
