Planning on hiking into the back country north of Licola. The Idea is to walk in on Thursday night ready for first light on the Friday (about 5km in the dark). Hike out either Saturday evening or Sunday morning.  You will need all your own gear for this one but would still be a good starting trip for those who want to try backpack hunting.

Last time I was in this area I saw plenty of deer and I think it has escaped the worst of the ANP culling runs to date.
